L’ Airone bianco maggiore esprime in volo una naturale eleganza.
Nel Delta del Po questa specie ha trovato un habitat naturale favorevole che gli ha permesso negli anni una progressiva stabilizzazione. L’individuazione del primo nido in quest’area risale al 1990. Ad oggi si contano una decina di coppie.

The Great White Heron expresses a natural elegance in flight.
In the Po Delta this species has found a favourable natural habitat that has allowed it to gradually stabilise over the years. The first nest was found in this area in 1990. Today there are about ten pairs.
